A little love today....We enjoyed welcoming Karl back with our cheesy love songs. There were some fantastic creations.

We delved into our love poetry package and started with Shakespeare's sonnet about his very normal love.

Next class: speeches!

Today’s 5-minute write:

Crunch, crunch, crunch. I trudged on wearily, gazing at the abyss of white before me, desperately hoping I was travelling in the right direction. Glancing at my watch and making a quick calculation, I saw I had been walking for 178 minutes.

We then had our impromptu speeches.

Those of you who had come up with topics for the persuasive speech ran them by me. If your topic was approved, I asked you to start developing your three points.

Next day:
  • Impromptu speeches for those who wish to redo them or for those who were absent
  • Work on persuasive speeches
